Helen Guri's poems have been published in journals and magazines across Canada. Her first book, Match, was published by Coach House in 2011, and was shortlisted for the Trillium award for poetry. Last summer, Helen spent ten days canoeing the Grand River with a troupe of fellow poets and a sealed barrel of books, stopping to read each night in a different town. In addition to writing, Helen works as a freelance editor, blogger, and occasional writing instructor.
